FAQs

Below are frequently asked questions for ornamental fence.

  • What kind of Ornamental fence do you install?

We have a variety of options and styles that include both steel and aluminum products. Along with a range of different heights and grade of materials ranging from residential to industrial installation.

  • What are the differences between line, end, corner, blank & gate posts?

For steel ornamental, all the posts are considered to be “blank” posts with no

holes pre-punched. The only difference for steel is the brackets that would be

needed for each post. We use a universal style bracket for our end and corner

posts, and we use a different line bracket for our line posts.

Alumium Ornamental typically come with pre-punched holes that correspond

with where the post placement is. End posts will only have the pre-punched

holes on one side of the post, Corner posts with have holes on two sides of

the posts to create a 90-degree angle where the two fence lines meet. Line

posts will have pre-punched holes on adjacent sides of the posts.

  • How wide is a section?

Depending on the style and grade of material, Ornamental fence usually

comes in either a 6’ or 8’ wide section. This measurement is based off a “on

center measurement”, so the panel may be a couple inches shorter.

  • What do I do about corners that are not 90 degrees or odd angles?

In these cases, we use a swivel bracket to attach the panels to the posts. This

allows us to install the fence where the angle may be more than 90 degrees
